Smells Like Children was originally to be a remix album but over time and with contributions from various artists including Skinny Puppy producer Dave Ogilvie, Nine Inch Nails keyboardist Charlie Clouser (now famous as the scorer for the Saw movie soundtracks) and tour bus driver Tony Wiggins, the ep morphed into a weird myriad of sounds, prank calls and covers. The most noteable release from this album was the band’s cover of 80′s pop band The Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams”, a song that pushed the band out into the limelight with the video gaining noteriety for it’s late night MTV showings.
Review: Alternative press review from CDUniverse
“…It’s the best album of the year. It’s one bad-trip rocket ride through the psyches of some sick bastards who would vote ten-year-olds as Penthouse Pets Of The Year, while spiking pixie sticks with crystal meth…”
